1. Scope
This policy applies to telecommunications services provided by Apex Teleco LLC to business customers and interconnection partners. Services are governed by a written agreement or service order. If that agreement contains different billing, dispute or refund terms, the agreement applies.
2. Usage-based Services
Voice, SMS and similar services are billed for traffic that has been delivered. Completed usage is generally not refundable. Where a service failure on our side caused traffic to be billed incorrectly, we will correct the charge through a credit or refund after investigation.
3. Billing Disputes
If you believe an invoice is wrong, send a written dispute to info@apexteleco.com within the period stated in your agreement. Include your account name, the invoice number, the disputed amount and supporting call or message records. Undisputed amounts remain payable by their due date. We will review the dispute and respond in writing.
4. Prepaid Balances and Deposits
Unused prepaid balances and security deposits may be refunded on request when an account is closed in good standing, after deducting any amounts owed to us. Balances or deposits may be withheld or applied against charges where the account was suspended or terminated for violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law, or where charges are owed to upstream carriers because of that traffic.
5. Non-refundable Items
Third-party carrier fees, regulatory pass-through charges and set-up or number fees that have already been incurred on your behalf are not refundable, unless your agreement says otherwise.
6. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method or by bank transfer, as agreed with you, normally within 30 days of approval. Currency conversion and bank fees charged by your bank or payment provider are outside our control.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under applicable law.
